Here's My Deal
I have run The Boot Factor, a content marketing company, since 2001, back when farmers markets were actually about farmers. With style, results and sometimes irreverence, my team and I harness the power of the human voice to connect B2B companies with customers. It’s called lead generation with a creative conscience. And it totally works.
Storytelling like a journalist and editing without much mercy, I’m a small town girl from the Midwest and did the dotcom thing circa 1999, then contracted for big guys like Xcel Energy, CIGNA, Great-West, Qwest, Chipotle, Bloomingdales, blah blah blah. Next it was the tech scene. Ping Identity, Dizzion, Brightpearl and dozens of others.
Along this path of words and wisdom, I also rafted the Nile, hitchhiked through the Middle East, served in the Peace Corps as an adult, got yoga certified, birthed a daughter (without an epidural btw) acted in a few very bad B-movies made for the SyFy channel and built a Little Free Library out of a camping oven.
